Rounding Up the project “Toward a cholera Free Nation Project”

Rounding up the project Final Evaluation of the “Toward a cholera Free Nation Project” (2019 – 2023). The purpose of this institutional contract is to conduct a summative evaluation, document project achievement in terms of outputs, outcome, impact, and lessons learnt. The evaluation will combine qualitative and quantitative methodologies aligned to the objectives, results and indicators outlined in the project logical framework. Eventually, mobilize the various stakeholders to act based on the evaluation report. The objectives of this contract are to:

Reflecting: March

A productive reflection on the month of March, as we were facilitating Bread for the World PME training programs in Bulawayo. Participants were able to develop the Monitoring and Evaluation matrix for the output level indicators. The matrix was further improved to work as a dashboard. Unfortunately, it is the coming to the end of the project, and they will only be able to use this for the next project phase. Participants were able to come up with methodologies for the coming end-line evaluation.

 

Invest in women: Accelerate progress

Wrapping up International Women’s Month with a reflection on our work in development and the impact of inclusion in all communities. We celebrated International Women's Day on the 8th of March, which originally started from labor movements in North America and Europe, and was later adopted by several countries. The 2024 UN theme is “Invest in women: Accelerate progress” which emphasises investing in women’s health, education, leadership, and economic empowerment.
