Role at MDS:
Aveneni is a social scientist (social worker and demographer) who has over 15 years experience in family health programming, research, and advocacy, with a special focus on children, adolescents, young people, and women, at both local and international levels. He is a trainer, a coach, a facilitator, a researcher, a mentor, and a publisher who is motivated and driven by generating evidence for informed decision making. He is a results-oriented team player with over 10 years experience of working in consultancy environment: tender preparation, project implementation, partnerships management, quality assurance, scientific paper writing and publishing, on health and child protection. My specific roles are as follows:
Business Development: I contribute towards the development of promotional materials such as briefing notes, company profiles, and websites updates, among others. I also provide technical assistance towards maintaining and sustaining of strategic partnerships for socio-economic development.
Tender Preparation: Aveneni participates in the development and quality assurance of expression of interests and tenders (Preparing financial and technical proposals), as a response to our clients. This includes searching and securing expert consultants for quality and effective delivery of assignments.
Project implementation: He participates in health and child protection related assignments in varied capacities, such as project lead, principal investigator, quality assurance manager and specialist (e.g., in various sectors such as child protection and youth empowerment, and women’s health). He also manages the manages budgets, and communication plans for the assignments.
