Canford Chiroro is an Associate Consultant at Muthengo Development Solutions where he leads the Agriculture and Climate portfolio. He has over 10 years’ experience of leading and working in teams carrying out institutional development work, including project design and management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and providing strategic and technical assistance, to public and donor funded organisations. During this time, Canford has developed extensive expertise in leading research, conducting capacity needs analysis, training design and implementation, planning and implementation of results-based management and adaptive and flexible M&E systems in support of organisational development. Canford works in agriculture, building resilience, climate and green growth, natural resource management and education sectors. Canford is a mixed methods research specialist with experience in survey design and management, statistical analysis, institutional analysis, and delivering teaching and training. Canford has worked in Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania, Nepal and the Philippines.
