Associate Consultant

Mercy Hatendi is a versatile Associate Consultant with Muthengo Development Solutions, with over 30 years of experience in national and international development work in the following: HIV and AIDS integrating GBV and Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR); Gender and SGBV, Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) programming; Counselling and Psychosocial support; Advocacy, Behaviour Change Communication, Research, Policy development and analysis; health and health rights in relation to GBV; Social protection; health promotion; Capacity building/Training; Development of Strategies, Training materials such as manuals and modules; gender and gender mainstreaming; water and sanitation hygiene (WASH); developing guidelines; relief and development; rural and urban livelihoods; food- and livelihood- security that include the value chain process for agricultural farming with a focus on vulnerable children and women; Communication and Accountability. She has been trained in COVID 19 through the WHO online training courses and has attended several international and national virtual meetings on COVID Response.

Mercy is a holder of a Master’s Degree in Adult Education, Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education; Diploma in Health and Adult Education; Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery; Certificate in Systemic Counselling; and MANGO Training.

She is a versatile team player and currently an Associate Consultant at Development Solutions. As an associate consultant, Mercy does researches, evaluations, development of Strategies for various organisations such as ILO, MoHCC, National AIDS Council (NAC), UN Agencies.
