Mid Term Evaluation of the HIV and Disability Project

Description of Project: MDS undertook a Mid Term Evaluation of the HIV and Disability Project. The project focuses on mainstreaming disability in HIV treatment of adolescents using the adolescent peer educator model titled Zvandiri model. The project also builds capacity of health, education and social services to handle disability for adolescents living with HIV.
Tasks: Duties included evaluation design, data collection and providing recommendations for improving the programme and scale up. Key stakeholders including psychosocial support department of the MoPSE, ENT and MoHCC were interviewed. Caregivers, CATS and adolescents who benefited from the project were also engaged for the evaluation exercise
