Senior Consultant- Statistician and Data Management

Jackson Jack is a Data Analyst with 15 years of experience. He has been a consultant, designing survey methodologies for the following programs/projects/interventions – Food and Nutrition Security, Livelihoods programs, WASH Programmes, CASH Transfer and HIV/AIDS care, treatment, and Prevention Programmes. Noteworthy experience that he offers includes:

• Coordinating and managing the collection and integration of individual participant data from multiple studies evaluations and ensuring data quality and consistency.

• Applying data science techniques, including utilizing large language models (R and Python), to automate and assist in data harmonization.

• Developing and maintaining data pipelines and workflows to streamline data harmonization and analysis processes.

• Ensure compliance with research ethics, data protection regulations, and privacy considerations when working with sensitive data.

• Contribute to document and disseminate data harmonization processes, methodologies, and findings.

·       Developing databases using SQL and MS Access (desktop-based databases).

·       Designing and using online and offline data collection systems using the following applications - Survey Solutions, Akvo, Kobo, and Survey CTO.

·       Monitoring and Evaluation functions

·       Capacity building - Data collection techniques, data analysis, data storage and management, data collection and analysis software packages

He has worked as a consultant in the following countries – Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
