Comprehensive Stocktaking Exercise for the development of a National Adaptation Plan (NAP)

The project was aimed at undertaking a comprehensive stocktaking of the NAP process identifying national and sectoral information available on climate change impacts, vulnerability, and adaptation, and assessing gaps and needs of the enabling environment for the NAP process. This provided value addition on coherence integration of climate change policy, strategic and sectoral planning, and programming. The assignment also involved a more detailed assessment of climate change impacts, and vulnerability situations in Zimbabwe both in rural and urban sets with a particular focus on 15 selected districts from previous vulnerability assessments and the production of a District Adaptation Plan (DAP) and Provincial Adaptation Plan (PAP) TEMPLATES.
