The partnership was between Save the children, Plan International and World Vision working in thirteen districts in Zimbabwe with World Vision being the Lead partner. The objective of the joint assessment was to develop key sector indicators to be gathered during this baseline assessment and can be collected in future for comparison. Data was collected at school level, from the heads of schools development Committees and teachers. Data was collected on key indicators including rate of functioning schools, students' attendance rate, presence or attendance of teachers, reasons why students and teachers are not in schools, types and scale of risks within schools, type of interventions which would help resume education in a safe and sustainable way.
