The scope of this assignment was to conduct the Media and Information habits, consupmtion and perception in Zimbabwe survey. The obectives of the study were to: a) Provide a better understanding of the media consumption habits and attitudes of Zimbabweans drawn fro different geographical, demographic and economic backgrounds. The survey focused on ascertaining the media perceptions, preferences and expectations of marginalized groups; especially women and youth in rural areas. b) Gauge the level and depth of media coverage and citizen views on key developmental issues such as climate change, environment, corruption and accountability. c) Explore media and information literacy levels of women, men, boys and girls in targeted areas. This was a qualitative and quantitative survey with a sample size of 3000.
