Evaluation of Government of the Republic of Zambia – UNICEF Country Programme of Cooperation, 2016-2021 In partnership with Mokoro, MDS conducted the Evaluation of Government of the Republic of Zambia - UNICEF Country Programme of Cooperation, 2016 - 2021. This evaluation fulfiled a key role in identifying lessons which informed the design of the next Country Programme as well as adjustments in the current Programme, and opportunities to improve UNICEF's performance. The CPEs assess (i) the contribution of the Programme of Cooperation to national development results; (ii) UNICEF’s contribution to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) results; and (iii) UNICEF’s strategic positioning in relation to its child rights mandate. As the local partner, MDS was responsible for providing the local context, data collection which was mostly in the form of qualitative KII interviews with local stakeholders.
